The annual practice exercise from the subject “Shellfish farming” (Chov měkkýšů a korýšů) was held this week. Students had a part with recognition of stripes and shells of individual species, could try a culinary preparation of "seafood" and test their taste. This year, they could taste, for example, oysters, mussels, lobsters and shrimps. Signal crayfish were also cooked. Not only the preparation and the most delicious recipes were discussed, but also the methods of consumption and humane killing of these animals.
