Upon order of Klatovy fishery company, we induced triploidy in brook trout in October 26-27, 2020 during its artificial propagation by retention of the second polar body using hydrostatic pressure shock. We developed hydrostatic pressures   >650 atm in our pressure chamber. In total, around 30 litres of fertilized eggs were treated. The triploid brook trout will be subjected to performance testing in aquaculture. Contemporarily, they will be a topic of new BSc. thesis in our laboratory.
